01 — The brief

Launching a medical device to the people who sell it

The Brief

Integra LifeSciences, a $1.3B medical-device company, needed an internal launch film to excite its salesforce for the CereLink ICP Monitoring System: from storyboard to final cut.

The Constraint

The launch deadline made in-person shoots impossible to justify. The film still needed real voices: interviews, script reads, the product story. So the production itself had to be reinvented to fit the timeline.

CereLink is Integra's intracranial-pressure monitoring system: continuous ICP monitoring with minimal drift, MR-conditional hardware, durable flexible sensors, and advanced bedside data presentation. The launch film translated that spec sheet into a story the salesforce could carry into the field.

03 — The process — a crew of one

With the deadline ruling out in-person shoots, I designed a virtual production instead: three days of remote interviews and script reads, directed live and captured over Zoom in both audio and video, so the film kept its real voices without a single flight booked. Two days of editing assembled the story. Two days of refinement worked in stakeholder notes. Then the final film shipped. Storyboard, direction, capture, edit, and delivery: one person, end to end.

04 — Decisions

Storyboard as the contract. Every beat of the film was boarded and approved before production. In a regulated industry the storyboard is where claims get locked, so the edit never has to walk anything back.

Virtual capture as a feature, not a fallback. Remote sessions meant more voices in less time, and the edit was built to make Zoom footage feel intentional: clean framing, designed lower-thirds, and motion design carrying the transitions.

05 — Outcome

Delivered as the internal launch centerpiece for the CereLink product line: storyboard, motion and visual design, and internal presentation assets, produced end to end at REALITYRx.
